The Acalanes Boosters Club is a non-profit, fundraising organization composed of Acalanes High School parents and school administrators who work closely with the school’s coaching staffs to ensure the safety and well-being of Acalanes student athletes by providing significant, supplemental funding to all twenty-seven sports programs. The Acalanes Boosters Club is overseen by a board that includes officers responsible for day-to-day leadership, committee chairs responsible for major fundraising and communications activities, team representatives ensuring every Acalanes sports program’s interests and needs are represented, abd school administrators and staff responsible for athletics. The Acalanes Boosters Club believes athletics help develop well rounded individuals by teaching commitment, perseverance, leadership, teamwork, and life-long fitness habits: all important qualities for Acalanes student athletes to have. In recent years, the Acalanes Boosters Club through the hard work of its volunteers and the generosity of parents, alumni, community members, sponsors, donors and partners, has provided $220,000 or more per year to support the Acalanes High School athletic program. Our funding falls into four categories: Program expenses, capital expenditures, trainer expenses, and strength and conditioning program.
